Almighty God, our heavenly Father, let thy protection be upon all those who are in the service of our country; guard them from all harm and danger of body and soul; sustain and comfort those as home, especially in their hours of loneliness, anxiety, and sorrow; prepare the dying for death and the living for your service; give success to our arms on land and sea and in the air; and grant unto us and all nations a speedy, just and lasting peace. Amen.

I'd like to give the new CDF document a complete reading before I comment further but upon a brief skim, I defer to George Weigel's apt summary:
"There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING NEW in this document. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a theological illiterate who equates ecumenism with political correctness. Period."
As expected, the same folks who are pitching a fit over 2000's Dominus Iesus (recommended background reading, and which itself is but a restatement of earlier doctrine) are doing so now.
